The sewing machine pictured (previous page) rewarded Jean-Marie for being the top student in his sewing class.  St . Mary's provides teacher salaries, sewing machines, cloth and materials, for the class.  Having the skills learned in this class and the sewing machine awarded will enhance Jean-Marie's chances for him to be a productive member of Haitian society.  As for us, with God's grace and blessing, our lives have been changed forever.  We have been deeply touched by the hospitality and love flowing forth from all the Haitians we encountered.  We cannot wait to return to our sisters and brothers in Haiti.

Greetings Outreach to Haiti.
Peace and love to the folks from home from the pilgrims from St. Mary's in Coventry. We are loving our immersion experience and learning much about the culture and people of Haiti. Picture attached is a pig we bought at market. We also bought two roosters and two goats (one pregnant which is a blessing). We continue to try to find ways for Haitians to learn to be more self-sufficient. Must go. God's peace to all
